Melissa started working for Envision Utah in May of 2018. As a Communications & Community Relations Intern, Melissa assists with event coordination, social media efforts, fostering relationships with community partners, and fundraising. Melissa is a recent graduate from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors in European Studies. Melissa is planning to attend grad school and hopes to pursue a career in public administration.

Prior to Envision Utah, Melissa worked in policy and press for the European Union and the Conservative Party for the British Government. After Brexit, she returned to Utah with an interest in communications and public administration. She has also worked for World Trade Center Utah and the Utah Attorney General’s Office.

As a transplant to Utah, Melissa spends much of her time immersing herself in Utah’s outdoors and growing foodie scene. She’s a running enthusiast and a not-so-secret chocolate lover and baker.
