Megan has spent the last 7 years working as a community advocate and fundraiser in multiple capacities. Like many in the non-profit sector - she juggles a few different hats. Most recently she has worked on projects regarding advocating for affordable healthcare, working towards creating equitable opportunities for people with disabilities and other historically excluded communities, domestic violence services for people who are Hard-of-Hearing or Deaf,  youth after-school programs, air quality, and the environment. She is passionate about creating spaces where all members of the community can grow and thrive. She graduated from the University of Utah and double majored in Consumer and Community Studies and Human Development. She also sits on several fundraising and event planning committees and was recently selected as 1 of 5 scholarship recipients through the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Utah Chapter in recognition for her work as a fundraising professional in Utah.

Additionally, she has been an on-call crisis worker and advocate for survivors of sexual trauma for the past 3 years.

When not trying to figure out how to save the world, Megan can likely be found at the dog park or farmers market, hiking, hunting for vintage kitchenware, reading new cookbooks, and practicing yoga.
