Travis holds a degree in Social Science Teaching with a minor in Art History from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Travis taught AP European History, AP Art History, Financial Literacy, and Leadership at Hillcrest High School in Midvale, Utah before coming over to Envision Utah. He also coached several sports and ran Hillcrest’s Link Crew program, preparing 9th graders for success in high school and beyond.

Always a teacher, Travis is responsible for sharing groundbreaking early learning science with parents, organizations, and stakeholders in Utah. Travis currently works with a growing list of stakeholders and organizations to execute our early learning vision to embed brain-building science across the state, including at organizations like Intermountain Healthcare and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our partnership with the Bezos Family Foundation’s Vroom platform helps Travis inspire organizations who work with parents to help create brain-building environments for their small children.

Travis is an avid reader and Disney fan, and enjoys weightlifting, spending time in Utah’s backcountry, and eating lots of good food with friends and family.
