Amy Upchurch joined Envision Utah in January of 2023. As the Communications Coordinator, Amy assists with the design and distribution of content to help keep Utahns engaged and informed with Envision Utah’s projects.
Amy is originally a Georgia peach, who fell in love with the mountainous desert beauty of Utah during her time at Brigham Young University and decided to make Utah her permanent home. She graduated from BYU in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus in Child Development. While working in the early education sector, she developed a passion for designing content and creating memorable moments for audiences through fun and ornate events. Having been raised by Latino immigrants and now having a family of her own, Amy’s favorite populations to advocate for include small children and Hispanic families.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys dancing Latin American rhythms, spending time with family, and throwing themed parties.
